A Mystery Solved

Today I figured I would write a little about what’s been going on and what’s new in our lives. Last month I finally found my birth father after searching for him actively for 33 years. It was such a thrill to find him alive and well living roughly 500 miles west of me. We’ve been talking almost daily for the past month and he has a wonderful family that have each reached out and welcomed me with open arms. I will be meeting him at the end of the month. I’m super excited

Three days ago I finally located my birth mother and spoke to her for the firs time in my life. Ironically she lives about 500 miles east of me. She’s so happy that I found her that she’s coming to visit me this weekend. I can hardly wait to meet the both of them. I also have a total of 5 new brothers and sisters. The mystery of my birth has been solved.

About 2 weeks ago today I was in a pretty bad car accident. A car traveling about 100 km/h drove right into the side of the car while my fiancee, my future mother in law, and myself were in. The car had to be cut apart to remove us and we were all taken to the hospital by different ambulances.

Thankfully none of us had any broken bones but I did suffer a concussion along with a neck and back injury. They’ve had me on some pretty strong medication which makes me groggy and sleep a lot. The pain is slowly subsiding each day and I’m really glad it wasn’t any worse.

Besides the car accident, it’s been a rough year with the fiancee having 5 separate surgeries in the past 11 months. She’s finally able to walk again and completed her outpatient physical therapy. She still needs to do some home therapy but at least things are looking up. We’ve been discussing our wedding plans and are shooting for a spring of 2017 wedding.

The other developer RedWine has also been having his share of medical issues. He’s a trooper and has been working on the Kliqqi code even when he probably should be in bed resting. He is absolutely the heart and soul of this project. This entire project wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for him and I want to publicly thank him again for his continued effort. It would be nice if you could send him your best wishes in the comment section below.

As for the next version of Kliqqi we are still working on getting some bugs taken care of and finalizing the new upgrading path from Pligg to Kliqqi. There were so many problems with Pligg that I couldn’t even begin to explain them all to you here on one page. We don’t have an exact time frame for the next release of Kliqqi but we will try and let you know as soon as possible. I would say it’s more sooner than later.

I hope you are all having a great day.
