We are working hard each day to bring you Kliqqi V3 as quickly as possible. If you are not aware Kliqqi was previously called Pligg CMS. Unfortunately the Pligg CMS code was getting pretty outdated and requires a lot of cleaning and re-coding to make it functional again. Kliqqi’s developers, ChuckRoast and RedWine, have been working very hard every waking moment for almost 2 straight months. Fixing bugs, updating the core files, optimizing the code, and we’ve also successfully reduced the server load by eliminating unnecessary database queries.
Some new additions, along with the optimized core files include a full featured statistics suite. Pligg’s previous statistics widget was poorly coded and required many hours of updating to get it to work correctly. New statistics have been added and the widget is now looking great in Kliqqi.
Kliqqi now has much better spam protection than Pligg. The killspam function in Pligg was almost unusable until RedWine got a hold of it and rewrote much of the code. There were issues with the Spam Trigger module with Pligg as well. The problem was that it didn’t work anymore. This has also been rectified and it’s now working much better.

Also new in Kliqqi V3 is the Dashboard. The dashboard for Kliqqi replaces the old admin panel in Pligg. We thought we needed to bring the terminology up to date. We will be adding more template hooks before the release to provide for future new features, and modules.
We’ve also rewritten the sidebar statistics module and removed 12 more database queries from each page load.
We can’t wait to get Kliqqi out to you. We are working night and day to bring it to you as soon as possible. You won’t be disappointed. We’re sure of that.
